Automatic Equivalent Circuit Fitting in Bode Analyzer Suite

Easily create equivalent circuit models of measured impedance curves in Bode Analyzer Suite using the innovative and user-friendly Circuit Fit feature.

What is Circuit Fit?

The Circuit Fit feature allows you to fit an equivalent circuit model or a transfer function to a measured impedance or admittance curve.

Your Benefits:

  • Easily create data-driven component models
  • Perform measurement-based component analysis
  • Measure and model in one software
  • Easily integrate measured components into SPICE models

Depending on the complexity of your device under test, you can choose between the pre-defined "simple” model or a more complex generic network structure. The pre-defined models allow typical series and parallel combinations as well as a resonator model for quartz crystal or piezo modelling. The generic network model can be a parallel or series ladder network with up to 20 complex poles. This high complexity allows models to fit measurements with multiple resonances and allows a near perfect match of the frequency response between measurement and model.

SPICE Netlist Export

After having fitted a model, you can easily export the equivalent circuit model to a SPICE netlist that can be used in a SPICE based simulator.
